Okra water is a simple wellness drink made by soaking fresh okra pods in water overnight. Naturally rich in soluble fiber (mucilage), it supports digestion, hydration, and blood sugar balance. Ingredients
  

  • 10–12 fresh okra pods
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1 slice lemon (optional)

Method
 

  1. Wash the okra pods thoroughly under running water. Trim both ends and slice each pod into 3–4 pieces.
  2. Place the sliced okra into a clean glass jar or pitcher. Pour in the filtered water.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 24 hours to allow the okra to release its soluble fiber (mucilage).
  4. In the morning, gently squeeze the okra pieces, then strain them out. Add lemon if desired and drink.

Notes
